Ricky's Heavy Hitting Western Wisconsin 12 Point Buck
My friend Ricky took this beautiful heavy framed buck on opening morning of the Wisconsin rifle season. Rick put him down around 8:30 in the morning, and then stayed on stand for the rest of the day. This buck was taken from almost the excact spot that my brother Pete shot his monster (Pete's Christmas Buck page 1). Its the location we all know as "Ricky's Stand". I shot an 8 pointer there as well several years ago, but Rick's buck could have swallowed mine. Way to go Rick!!!
Tyson takes a heard bull
My friend Tyson shot this beauty out in his home state of Montana a couple years back. Tyson and I guided together both in Alaska and Colorado. This boy can hunt and fish!
Jay shot this whopper on a trip with Steve and Rick to Mexico
Rick shot this nice buck on that same trip
My friend Perry (not pictured) guided this lucky hunter to a true Colorado Trophy monster in 2006
Perry is a friend and fellow guide for Colorado Trophies. He is a great guy and he taught me quite a bit. We took several big bulls that week but this one took the cake. This was a public land bull!!! I think everyone's knees were shaking when he showed up. I know mine would have been...
Spenser's nice Wisconsin 10 point whitetail
My friend Spencer stayed in the stand on the second day of rifle season till nearly 11:00 am and was payed off nicely. First a good sized doe came in close and Spence dropped her with his 35 cal Marlin. Shortly there after he heard more noise and looked over to see this buck come trotting in. The 10 pointer aproached and even sniffed the fallen doe, before Spencer's old Marlin put him down too.
Tyson takes another big Montana 6x6!!!
I haven't heard the story yet, all I know is that he had to pack it out a long way.
